I'd like to see timestamps whenever I put my cursor on the waveform of a track, especially when pointing at a cue mark. For example, cue 2 of a certain song is at 1:25 of the track. I like this because some of my tracks are extended versions, but I don't always want to play the entire song. I can visually pick out a spot on the waveform that might be a good place to start the song, but I'd like to know how deep into the song that spot is.

Damn, you're right. I forgot that most new forums close old topics automatically
in order to prevent spam. Just wanted to point out it's been suggested, but
nothing was done about it.

i remember asking for this same thing about a year ago and the response was that this could be done with the skin...?

Sorry, but I really don't think so. I'm not aware of any functions that would allow you
to graphically represent timestamps, or display time on a particular part of the waveform
display. I haven't looked in the SDK changes for at least a year now, but I doubt there
were any changes made.
I have made a couple of pics representing my idea back than, I'll post them again:
Pic1: Time display on mouse over
Pic2: Minute markers

Really like the minute markers and the time check, are they available in the set up or is it that you are hoping for them.
really good idea, I want them..hehe

No, it's still just an idea, a vdj interface image modified with photoshop.
Especially the time display would be SO simple to implement, as the
software can already read on what location your mouse is (if you click
it will go to that position in song), it just has to read the time from
that position and display it in tooltip window.
5 minutes for experienced programmer.
And when you're mixing newer songs, this info can make a difference
between good and a bad mix.

@erxon
What a shame. You got me all excited there.
The minute markers is the best idea in ages I think, Alot of my House tracks have intro's a minute or so long, before the first break, I like to mix the incoming track in to that point, so it would be really good for me.
