Frank Sinatra...Auld Lang Syne...its perfect for the stroke of midnight.....and for the very first song after..I always played the No.1 hot from the past year.....or the song I was most requested..depending on the establishment....

eh.. what we do... probably wouldnt fit too well with y'alls crowd...

after auld lange syne, we have the entire building on its feet, the floor covered with people, the lights bright, and them singing God Bless The USA at the top of their lungs - we film it and send to our guys in iraq with a come home soon and safe message.

but Celebration is almost always a cheesy winner too

so... music at midnight?

at midnight we did the cheesy Guy Lombardo Auld Lang Syne or however you spell it, then our toast to the soldiers - those with us and those who wont be returning - then God Bless the U.S.A. and then "from us to you" happy new year, blah blah blah. it was cheesy and they ate it up!

30 minutes of dance music later we dropped $2008 dollars on the ladies only balloon drop. because as you know.. "women wont be fighting over money if its a ladies only balloon drop" the last balloon drop one of our regulars broke 2 of her ribs in the scuffle, not sure about the damage report from this last one. i only know we didnt have to call an ambulance this time.

"i'm not pissed that i am taking a piss while i am pissed about the piss"

go ahead.. translate. while i take some tylenol.
