It would be nice that VDJ keeps track of all played songs.
I'm not using the internal database, because that doesn't suit my way of finding my records.
I have a fast search proggie, that helps me find my songs, and then drag drop them from in that prog (or windows explorer) onto VDJ.
So if these from external dragged songs are kept in a list, would be a nice feature.

They are saved to a plist that is saved under your playlists. You can then take that saved file and open it in word and have a full playlist with times. Believe me it just saved me when a client complained about one of my dj's for a recent christmas party. I reviewed the playlist and debunked a lot of the complaints when this DJ never once received a bad grade under me....

Hey thanks you all. I saw some lists of the previous days I was playing. But today I'm not succeeding in having this list automatically created ?
Can somebody explain, how the creation and saving is triggered?
Tried already closing and opening VDJ, but no luck....

Ensure to have your statistics option activated.
Strange that your previous playlists were saved and that once you've seen them the new ones aren't saved. What happened ? A crash ?

and what in case of a crash, could there have been a setting trashed somewhere?
And can you tell me how I turn on the statistics?
BTW, found the history.txt, which as well keeps track of the played songs.
But I was talking about the m3u files in the folder playlists below \Program Files\VirtualDJ.
And besides of this... it would be nice to have it integrated within the GUI of Virtual DJ.

- To turn on statistics: config => general => statistics

Just went into the general tab, but don't see the statistics option.
I am using VDJ 2.06 Full version.
Only options I see are:
- Multi Users = Enabled
- Security = Ask
- AutoUpdate = Enabled
- Charts = Enabled
- Tooltip = Enabled
- Max Load = 10 mn
- Scrolling = Normal
- Disc = 45rpm
- Pitch Range = -34% to + 34%
Nothing that looks/sounds like statistics, like what you are referring to.
Can you please help out on this?

My computer/ (Your drive letter)/Program Files/VDJ/Playlists Look for the date you want (as ong as you didn't delete them. Right click. Click open with - use wordpad or note pad. Comes out better in Microsoft Word if you have it...

But for some odd reason, these are not created anymore since the last days...
I just open up VDJ, drag a few songs to the desks and play them.
To me the m3u files should be created automatically, but this isn't the case.

Sorry yvesmk i have a french version; I told you about the "charts" option.
But it's possible I'm wrong and that this option is not the good ont for the playlists. I have to check.
I think playlists are created only when exiting VDJ.

Strange:
- I disengaged the charts option, try to play some tracks => no playlist automatically created
- I re-engaged it an dplayed some tracks => no more playlist !
I'll ask some details to the team and tell you the result.
