after you dowload the skin, how do you add it to vdj. Do you still get all the features?

If it's in EXE format you just extract it.
If it is ZIP file you just put it in My Documents>VirtualDJ>Skins folder.
If it is ZIP file you just put it in My Documents>VirtualDJ>Skins folder.
