Hi guys,
I'm building a new desktop which will be used for a multitude of things, one of which is a bit of DJ'ing.
What soundcard would you suggest for a desktop? My limit's around $250 if that comes into play.
Thanks!

Can't say if it's the best or not, but I use the M Audio Delta 1010lt PCI on my desktop. It's an excellent card at only $200, latency is almost non existant and stability is super. PCI cards like the delta are much faster than either USB or Firewire. The only drawback with this card is that you have to change the asiomapchainin in the registry, but it's easy to do & I can forward you the instructions if needed;^]

I don't mean to be horrible and burst a bubble here, but it would be highly recommended to have a dedicated PC for dj'ing. Certainly if you'll be using it commercially for gigs and stuff...although I suppose if it's just for home use then fair enough.
Just an observations...and like i say, sorry to be bubble bursting.
Good luck...(",)

Nearly new, in fact never used.
It was a back up installed on MB only.
I see you are in Ma, PM me if you are interested.
Should be next day UPS.
