Not sure if this has been done before or not..
How about something that analysis the frequencies of the 'master' channel, and sets up a opisite filter for the other channel.
I can see this been useful when say mixing two tracks with piano riffs in them, that tend to sound quite bad mixed together without some heavy use of the mid / treble filters.
No idea if it would work, or how easy it would be to code.
Someday I'll look at how you write the plugins myself... :)
