Hi All.
A newbie to VDJ, I was hoping to obtain an auto crossfader with buying the full version of Virtual DJ Pro Basic. Now that I have bought this full version I am concerned that it is no different to the free download version....with no 'auto crossfader'. Can anyone point me to how I get this fader set-up.

you mean Auto Mix
or you want to use 2 decks to Auto mix
Map a Key to Automix_Dualdeck
or you want to use 2 decks to Auto mix

If you want to automatically crossfade between the two decks on demand, simply map a key to the action: mix_now

There's an auto crossfader in it, but you have to map it with the keyboard mapper and in your controller mapper or you can set a keyboard shortcut to activate the action="fader_start" it will allow you to crossfade and to automatically start the deck you are crossing in.
For your controller mapper try this:

<map value="FADER_START_B" action="deck 2 rightdeck ? deck 2 fader_start : deck 4 fader_start" />
