Topic: Large Scan for BPM instruction leads to memory leak and crash / restart

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Windows 10, VDJ 8.2

Got the My Library plugin enabled. If I got to the Not Scanned section, and right click and SCAN FOR BPM on them all (or any large enough number of files), then the scanning start and the memory use keeps going up and up until it gets to about 2.5Gb and then VDJ crashes and restarts.

Any ideas?

Downgrade to 3663 seems to have fixed it FYI

Did you have experimentalBeatAnalyzer enabled?

No, it was switched off. Works fine with the older version, so I'm going to stick with that for now but worth flagging for you to see if anybody has a similar problem.

I had this issue yesterday and the experimental engine was engaged...Does that make a difference, on or off?

The memory leak should've been fixed with the latest early access build 3731.

So this was the problem I reported, I will give this new build a try, hoping all is well. I'm curious if this problem was only with specific PCs since I don't see others reporting.
