There are currently 170 apps using Link, including Traktor, Serato, Resolume, Madmapper, Maschine, Reason etc.

There is no master or slave in Ableton Link. All links are synced with each other, the one joining a session will be synced with the session at that point.

Thanks. I'm just using the terms to ascertain whether VDJ can now sync to an incoming clock.
Historically it always needed to be master (ReWire etc).
So once the add-on is installed, how do we use it? [later] OK, found it. It's listed as an effect.

if you frequently use it you'll probably want a custom button or button on your controller, so then it would be
effect_active "Ableton Link"

"Please note that on Windows machines, Link requires that you use ASIO audio drivers. Non-ASIO drivers are not supported."

In Ableton Live it's indeed only available using ASIO, but in VDJ it's still available with WASAPI as well (although stability will vary much more depending on the device and if you're using exclusive mode or not)
