Don't you just hate it when you have finished rocking at a party and a few patrons come up to you and say.. can i get a copy of that DVD you were just playing...they need to just have it..
of course i am like... sorry i did not record the session.. then you hear all the questions.. So what did you play...how did you play etc... Many just don't believe that it is possible to be mixing videos like this... Even when they see it in front of their very eyes.. they honestly deny what they see.. As if to say it is a farce. Don't they see the decks.. the rewinds.. the pause.. the interaction with the crowd etc. hear the mc...don't the see the requests etc....Ahh man...some really dont get it

Over at my club, most of the time I always hear, "How did you get the video to match the music?" I say, "I played the video".. They just dont get it, in a way they are right. They just think its seperate.

Biggest problem I have is explaing to bar owners what a music video Dj or Vj is......they always ask "you mean Karaoke?"
 
Yo Jamaica, you know what I did? I took the MIC and said "I hope you are enjoying videos, let's do some scratchin" and I start to spin jogs so they can see it is done live and mixing ;)

Oh this is classic LOL - I get that too sometimes. It's like, how long have music videos exsisted now?
 
I want my MTV. It's not like we're using some foreign means here. Let them not get it though. Just makes us seem that much more amazing right?
