Topic: rmx controller

i recently purchased the rmx, included was the limited version. i already have the vdj pro software. if i upgrade to pro using the software that was included with the rmx, will it be different and have the same skin as the rmx, or will it be what i already have?

i have already loaded my cpu with samples and effect previously......how do i incorporate them into the rmx?
 
when i try to use the microphone on /off button i get a crackling sound coming from the speakers when i turn the mic volume up loud.....or when the mic peaks...why is that?

also i made it stop when i changed the settings to stream music and microphone.....is that the solution?
 
its the same pro edition u would get

Yes, and in answer to your other question about effects and samples. That is something you are going to have to discover for yourself. Everyone uses VDJ differently, so experiment, relax, and have fun...T

will anyone ever come up with a rmx skin that has the gain value displayed in the skin?
other skins have it and it would be helpful to have i displayed before you bring in a track.....
 
most of the ones i use have the knob image which shows an approximate number (just like a knob on a mixer), but i haven't seen a numerical display on any skin... not that i recall anyways.
There is a function i believe on VDJ that will automatically adjust the gain to match the other deck...

look at the new skin....virtualDJ5: 1024X768
It changes the gain as you adjust the knob.
 
is there a way to make more than two cue points on the rmx?
i would like to do between 4 and 6 cue points at times.....
 
when i was using my MKII i could activate my mwindows media player, and anything else on my puter, play movies, you tube videos...it did not matter, it would broadcast through my speakers. with the rmx it does not....can anyone tell me why? what so i have to do to fix this problem.....i tried activating the asio mode....but got an error message......
 
not sure if i can help cause this is a mac solution but change your computer settings to use your rmx as sound output
 
i use my rmx to run everything on my pc WMP youtube etc and works fine, just set all your sound settings to the hercules rmx controller and i dont use the asio settin i keep it on WDM in the hercules control panel :D

and the buzzin through your speakers you might need a Ground loop isolator i have one and it sorted it out straight away can get them from ebay for a couple of quid.

as for the mic i dont have that problem so not too sure on that one.
