last weekend everything was ok with my VirtualDJ, but friday afternoon i fired up my Gig machine to do some maintenance on my files and the strangest thing happened.
VirtualDJ has the option of 'hiding' 3 file types > MP3/AAC - Video - Karaoke
this option got stuck on showing only MP3, all the video and karaoke was hidden.
normaly clicking the right hand button next to the search box shows this option, but the options were not there!
so i tryed running setup again > no change.
i looked in the registry and there are lots of options there for the program (in Virtualdj group) but i wasnt sure what does what..
so next i did an uninstall - reinstall, and i wiped out the virualdj group from registy, this certainly restored my options list.
so what i wanna know is what went wrong, and which key in the registry got changed to mess up the 'Show track types' menu (or whatever its called???
