VCI-100 "It glows" Overlay
Hi all!
Im starting to produce some Overlays for the VCI-100 now.
Actually i got a prototype which glows in the darkness...
The keymapping is standard and the material is a 3 foil thick very robust plastic. The transparent foil with the key mapping is weather resistent so very durable... kind of protection for the club too^^.
My next project will be probably an Overlay which works with electricity and real light effects.. but the producing will be a bit more expensive - so its maybe for later issues...
However i want to make the glowing one for the lowest prize the production will allow me That is nearly the production costs...cause its not cheap vinyl or something but very expensive effect foil and need to be water cut and pressed by machines.
Here are some pics of my first Prototype.

just a hint for lighting up your overlay...
you could look into Ultra Violet (UV) sensituve material or UV sensitive paint, then set a UV / Black-light near the DJ setup, and your controller will glow up.
you could use UV paint for the lettering, or with the right combination, have the entire overlay glow, and have black for the lettering (ie. Green and large black text)
