I didn't find anything about this but it's probably a reposted question. Would a Numark CD Mixer 2 be able to plug into my laptop and externally control virtual dj?

Technically speaking yes you could but you'd need VirtualVinyl with Timecoded CD's.
That being said looking at the specs I don't think you could use both decks on the CD Mix 2 to control both VDJ decks independently.
I reckon you could only use one deck of the CD mix 2 to control one or both deck of VDJ using timecoded CD's, because it only has one stereo output.

if you want to route the two decks from vdj to the two inputs from the numark cd-mix 2 you need a asio soundcard and vdj pro or numark cue or numark virtual vinyl. there is no plug and play function to connect your mac/pc to this deck.
and there is no way to controll the internal functions of vdj. for this you need a midi controller.
