Hello everyone, my friend just bought a Acer Aspire 1 laptop/mini-notebook. He downloaded Serato to this laptop and when he tries to open the program, it gives him a message of "minimum size required is 1024 x 700" He went to the display properties and set it to 1024 X 760 in the second display driver and it still gives him the same error message. Can someone help? Thanks.

As far as I know Serato has only one skin, and this one skin, is vector.. meaning it will scale to your screen size.
Are you sure you're trying to run Serato? Wouldnt think it would produce such an error.
And if so, that your screen size is really above 1024 x 700 at PRIMARY display driver

I told him to return the toy that he bought and get a real lappy. That's what he is doing now. Thanks for everyone's help.

May have been a slip or maybe not.
But that's exactly why I love this VDJ community.
Shut some critics up.

Well it's not me locking them .. and the reason for the question I asked ... is that I find it funny one would ask that here and not at SSL forums.
Sorry didn't have an answer for you syberman ... but it seems your friend is taking other actions to resolve the issue.

I think Diamon was being ironic or sarcastic ;)
About a topic where a guy CLAIMED we locked other dj software topics..
And as he sees, and others, we clearly do not :)
