I know I'm starting to get annoying with all these laptop posts but I want to make sure I do my research before I spend the money on a new laptop...I checked pc magazine's website and they ranked hp as number 1 on their laptop catergory...I just priced one out and with a 32 bit OS it was almost $300 cheaper than the dell XPS i was looking at... I was sold on the dell until i heard the horror stories about 64bit windows. Anyone out their using an hp to mix video and what do you think about it? here are the specs for the one i just priced out. Thanks for the help everyone....

i just upgraded to an hp to and i love mine. mine is a t8100 dual 2.1 with 4 gigs ram and an 8400 nvidia with 256mb dedicated ram for video and it works well for my use. i have the famous milisecond freeze on video when loading one in while one is playing but for the most part its tolerable. concidering i got my machine for $700 new $500 below the normal $1200 price. i have noticed if i do a long backspin or long back que it delays a bit on the main output but again i don't do that much being i set cue points and use shortcut keys to jump to them. yours has a better video cars so you might not even have the small glicthes i mentioned. basically spend the most you can and get the best processor, video card and ram you can.
