WHAT TYPE OF FILES DO I NEED TO SET UP VDJ FOR KAREOKE ? AND WHERE can i get the files, and how do u make the play on vdj please help or give suggestions .

the files i use forkaraoke are cdg files and mine are on an external drive.as far as i know you can rip them from cds toyour drives.just change skin to videoload song and away you go.video options if your using hardware to output to other screens check hardware option.also display on pc check extend my monitor .

Can anybody answe this question, pls?
I need a wbesite where I can PAY for my downloads, both videoclips and karaoke.
I just figured out how to connect my laptop to a serie of 20 TVs+ 1 beamer that I have in my bar,
and now my wife is bugging me that she wants to sing.
Help. The DVDs I buy are copyright protected and I can't get them into my comp.

There is a free website to download with about 8,000 CDG files at www.minus-fanera.com/minus.aspx. Its russian, but is very easy to search and download files, just click on .zip icon. The catalog got few and old titles (before 2007), but its a nice start.
As far as I know, you can buy CDG's from manufacturers as Sunfly, Sound Chioice, American Idol, Zoom, Key Note, and lots of resalers like buykaraokedownloads.com. Google them, guys.
To make your own CDG, you can download playback files from internet and syncronize the lyrics with softwares as Karaoke Builder Studio, used by majority CDG makers around the world. But I think PowerKaraoke plus is better, with less resources but easier to use.

If you own karaoke CDGs, Audiograbber is good - save them as CDG + WAV - CDG on its own displays the lyrics, but not the sound and WAV on its own gives you audio only.
For playback, if you have problems with VDJ and no amount of tweaking can get it to work, try KaraFun (doesn't work properly with Vista).
