I use the Behringer FBQ-1502. I like Behringer EQs because they have separate outputs for sub woofers. I would encourage anyone who is serious about quality live sound to invest in an EQ.

funny was just looking at one of those on ebay lol.are they easy to set up say to a crown amp.will it fit into my case with my amp.new set up two fbt 700watt speakers and crown xti4000 will it make a huge difference

This particular EQ is 19" rack mount compatible. As for setting up, don't tweek things too far. Fast and dirty explanation goes like this. 15 bands, far left 5 bands=lower frequency controls. Middle 5 bands=mid range frequency controls. Far right 5 band=high frequency controls. If you have any one band all the way up, or down, something is not set up right somewhere. There are also gain adjustments. Do not tweek them to much either. It can get real complicated, if you let it, so keep it simple and easy.

so is it just from your outputs on amp into eq.looking at the front of this eq what are those four small buttons beside the gains.will it give much difference to my sound considering my low highs and middles on my rmx ect

No, out of mixer, into EQ, out of EQ into AMP, out of amp, into speakers. One switch is a bypass. It turns off the EQ signal. One is a feedback detect, it helps with setting up the mic. Another is a lowpass. The last lowers the DB output.

Money well spent with multiple configuration saving capability.
For the most part I run everything but the mids flat.

Hey Staffy
I was lookin for a new amp and couldnt decide between the QSC3602 and the Crown XTI 4000. A few posts back. I was goin for the QSC when the guy demonstrated the Crown for me. If you get it hooked up to your lappy you can download software from Crown that lets you get into the DSP and guess what amongst other things "Its got a rather flexible EQ built into the DSP". I purchaced the Crown and ime lovin it. I think I have become a convert. Sorry QSC.
