Just finished my gig tonight, and i'm very confused! Went to play the video of Single Ladies and it had dissapeared! Same with N Sync Girlfriend! They were there last week though!
Bizzare thing is, they are still there on my external hard drive when you look in windows explorer, but when you manually browse the folder, or do a search in VDJ, the files just arent there!
Now i'm wandering how many videos arent showing up in the database now.
Laptop running Vista and Version 5.2.1
Help anybody?
Many Thanks
Nick D

Hi, there, I'm not sure but as soon as you disable the video output in Virtual DJ, the browser doesn't list video files anymore. They "come back" if you enable video functionality. Try that and let us know if the videos are visible.

Inside VDJ, go to the folder where the videos are located
Right click the folder, and choose "ADD to search database"
:)

In VDJ 7 there is an eye ball in the right hand corner of the database search click on it and enable the show video files icon

Nick - go read my post from yesterday about my mp4's dissappearing when I did an linked video overlay. You may have somehow done this. The only way I was able to get them back was to go into the hard drive NOT in virtual DJ but in My Computer, and rename the missing tracks. You can just leave the firslt letter off of the name, could be anything as long as the name is different. Then restart vDJ and look in your hard drive folders there and the songs will magically show up again. All you have to do at that point is go to file infos for each song and rename it back using the tag info arrows. i sent a ticket on this but havent gotten a real response yet - i think this is some kind of a bug.
