I had been using the Hercules RMX with my old computer and there was a tiny little noise from the computer coming through, but I just purchased a new one and there is a really loud computer noise coming through. Was wondering if there is a way of eliminating that by grounding it to the RMX somehow, or something that can be connected between the usb port and the RMX? Please help!!

You can also remove the ground pin from the laptop power cord. I use a usb mixer so the RCA solution was not an option. I found a site that gave as an option the removal of the ground pin. I haven't had any noise since. I do plug that into a ground power strip though.

Ended up getting the ebtech Hum X from guitar center. I needed something fast for a gig. It took care of the problem perfectly. Kinda pricey though. $69.99
