Topic: Sync Video

I been mixing music vids for a few months now. I just found out that I can link my videos with mp3 files. Is there any way I can edit these links some that I can match the music with the video? What I trying to do is to take the clean videos and sync them with the dirty versions of the music.

You'll be better off using a proper editing package such as Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere.

I do this almost on a weekly basis, I hate the edited versions with all the "vocal skips", ruins the song.

Just as Scott said you are better off using Sony or Adobe. I can also tell you if you are going to be a "VJ" learning how to edit video is something you will want and need to learn to do. Unlike "music in general" with video they throw all kinds of junk in that you will want to make go away.

I use Sony Vegas but I'm sure Adobe Premiere is just as good or probably better. (I think it costs a bit more)
 
yep i use them both, but if you are new to editing a much simpler editing software but gives excellent results to get your head round would be ulead/corel video studio, you can get this on a trial version and if you need any help with it just pm me.

Tayla, I don't know how you find the time to offer (and give) all the help you provide people in this forum.

hehe, thanks renee your so kind, i don't mind really if i can help i try my best, and i'm selfish, i enjoy it, got a few projects going on with some of the guys for there clipbanks just now so one more ain't gonna sink the ship, lol.
 
I personally like using Sony Vegas for my editing.

Just wanted to interject the great source YouTube is for tutorials for the most popular editing programs.
e.g, You can search in YouTube: Sony Vegas Transitions or Ulead Tutorial, etc for really great editing tips.
 
I am using Pinnacle studio 11 for editing. Its simple and resusults are realy good.
