I just got a ibook g4 with a 1.33ghz processer, and 512 ram.I plan on adding a 1 gig ram stick. Will this be enough to run vdj using just audio with my xponent?I'll be using the ibook strictly for djing. Also someone told me I should get a firewire hard drive because it will load faster. Is this true? Thanks alot

Yes and no. Despite USB2 is faster in theory (480Mb/s) than Firewire (400Mb/s), in reality Firewire is still faster. However, that does not mean that all external Firewire-hard drives are faster than the internal hard drive in your iBook. Smaller laptops usually use 2.5" 5400rpm hard drives, just like most of the smaller external hard drives. So basicly the speed advantage of using an external hard drive is negligible unless it has a 7200rpm (or faster) disk inside it.

As u may be aware there are no mac trial atm. So using unofficial product may have that effect. If u do have already purchase VDJ, pls do register in ur profile and upgrade to the recent version v5.2.1 if u have not done so;)
