Instead telling other djs what's ok to use... Why not tell them what's best to use.... Ok for me is not good enough.. You spend money twice.
For example...
Ok sound card is a Maya 44 ...... . get a M audio connectiv or serato box or nativ instruments..instead
Ok needles...... Ortofon Grey, black, or yellow, Stanton Disc master......Better needles are Ortofon OM scratch, Sure m44 7 , ortfon Digitrack..... They have a higher MV output and you will get a better time code reading. Example " ortofn black is 5 MV, silver is 5 MV, yellow is 6 MV. Stanton Disc Master is 5.5 MV Ortofon OM scratch is 7MV, Ortofon Digitrack is 8 MV and the Sure is 9.5 MV
Buy laptops with higher specs of the minimum required........
Am i missing anything else ?

Of course itd be best... but sometimes people can do without the best and cannot afford the best. when i was 14, i ran the minimum spec dell laptop version 3.4, had a behringer mixer and ran the output of the laptop to one line of the mixer. it worked until the money got to me to buy virtual vinyl. i think many on the board do advise what is good and what is best, buy for those asking, some dont many many choices. i do see what you're saying though
