Here is my setup:
I am using VDJ Pro for Video mixing.
Dell laptop with Windows XP SP3 running VDJ Pro.
Native Instruments DJ 4 audio USB interface.
Configured in VDJ Pro with two line mixer setup so that channel 1&2 are left deck and channel 3&4 are right deck using ASIO.
The RCA outs go to a Rane mixer then out to the speaker system.
I'm using full audio & Video skin.
My question is how can I configure VDJ Pro to allow me to cue tracks through my headphones? I am aware that there is a headphone option on the usb audio interface and on my laptop but I can't use these because my headphones are plugged directly into the Rane mixer. The reason for this is that channels 1 & 2 on the mixer control my laptop sound while channels 3 & 4 control another computer system used as well.
I have found a way to preview my tracks by ever so slightly moving the crossfader from the active live deck to the other. This allows me to cue the non-live deck but sometimes can be heard live which is obviously a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
