Greetings y'all,
I have been screwed again by those crappy MP3 license restrictions!
I just did a little bit of shopping on the TrackItDown.net website. In my shopping cart, there was a great mp3 from Fragma - Toca's Miracle (Inpetto Remix)
Absolutely one of the coolest remixes of all time, IMO.
Anyways, I had just clicked the "CHECKOUT" button when, suddenly, that song was removed from the cart with the following error message:
"We do not have a license to sell this item to your home country"
So, I tried to purchase the same song from 7digital.com and WHAMO!!! Here's the message I got:
"This item is only available to residents of the UK"
(Gotta love being from Canada!)
I try as much as possible to buy music rather than download it for "free". However, as a last resort, I went to P2P sharing services, and it was nowhere to be found either. This is the second time I can't get my hands on a song I really want and it's starting to tick me off. Has anyone ever experienced this sort of thing? What is this restiction about?
