Hello Guys!!!
Last weekend i had to setup a station of a DJ at a little pardy. So he asked me if he is able to controll VirtualDJ with his new iPod Touch G2. (Similar to the iPhone). I searched, and eaven i found a solution!
You need on your iPhone / iPod:
* MixMeister Scratch (for free at the itunes store)
You need on your Comuter:
* Asio4All (Universal low latenvydriver)
* DiskAid (to transvare files to your iphone)
* VirtualDJ (HeHE... lol)
Harware:
* stereo line transfare audiocable (Conect iphone with computer with audio cable)
Once installed those things about you have to download this: http://shup.com/Shup/157033/chackl_timecode.wav. The Timecode was not recorded!!! It was produced with synthmaker and exported with cubase!!! (1050Hz left phase 0 right phase 0.25)
How to config:
With the Programm DiskAid you'll bring the timecodefile to your iphone. Just swith there to root folder and select the path: private\var\mobile\Application. There are the folders of the applications inside. Browse all folders till you find a foldter called scratch.app in one of those folders. Copy there the Timecode music file.
Then conect the iphone to the computer via an audio line cable (stereo). then start Scratch in the iphone. Go to virtualDJ and setup a Timecodevinyl. (lol) Use vor that the Asio4All driver at 192 Buffer.
Note: You may settup your audioconfig of the system whith chanl you are recording!!!
So now you are able to scratch virtualdj with your iphone!!!!
Have Fun!!!!!
