Hi,
I have a client who runs VDJ audio only in a club, and is looking to upgrade to Video DJ'ing with multiple LCD screens.
The minimum system requirements are bizarrely brief, could someone please elaborate on the specifications required for no-fuss video dj'ing?
ie, what chipset ati/nvidia card is recommended? Does one work particularly well? What OS? Does it work best in XP, Vista? 32-bit or 64-bit? Dual core or Quad core?
Client is looking for a cost effective system that's not going to have incompatibilities or cause problems with skipping etc. Also looking for it run the latest codecs without problems, ie multiple MPEG-4 AVC video clips.
Come to think of it, the min requirements are a joke considering a PC with those specs would cope OK with 1 DVD resolution AVC clip, there's no way it could mix 2 of them with live special effects and frame jumping on demand.
Dom.
