After spending hours setting up a custom MIDI controller in 5.2, it would appear I've lost all my work. I can't find my custom MIDI settings. I also don't see a way to assign controllers to one deck or the other. All I really wanted was 5.2 with the value field actually working. Now I'm totally confused and distraught. Have I simply missed the way to assign a deck? I see I can code a value, but without a deck assigned to the command, I'm kind of screwed. Also, the new interface only makes finding commands easier if you already have the commands memorized. This is very unintuitive for someone who hasn't committed them to memory.

the syntax is deck 1 deck 2 seems pretty intuitive to me. example deck 1 play deck 1 stop etc for more go here http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript.html

However, I'm still grieved at losing all my settings from 5.2 that were configured under the "General MIDI" config.

search sets the focus on the search box
search "text" searches for specified text, so search "" banks the search box.
Finally search "" & search will clear the search box and set the focus on it...
