Topic: Hercules rmx with virtual vinyl

I have an all day gig this weekend (13 hours) and am planning to use my hercules
rmx with numark timecoded vinyl and vdj pro 6.
has anyone used this set up for long periods and if so do you have any tips on setting up latency etc.
Also how dificult is it to switch between vdj and just playing vinyl.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the same situation...I have RMX and Technics SL1210's and am going to get timecoded vinyl...but what do i need to do ?
 
Regarding your computer configuration, I would reading and applying the recommandations from this guide:

Next, go to the Rmx control panel, switch to ASIO mode and configure as follow:

Sample Rate: 44 Khz

Sample Size: 16 bits

ASIO buffer size: 10 Ms

Use this configuration for a while, see if you get any problems. If so, increase or decrease the ASIO buffer size and try again until you find the correct setting for your computer ( remember that you cannot makes changes while VDJ or VV is launched).

Next, for the audio configuration of VDJ/VV

- Input : 2 TimeCode

- Output(s): Headphone

-Soundcard: DJ Console RMX
