DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase from 123DJ.com. I am STILL waiting on a table top boom stand from them that I ordered 3 months ago. now Neil (who I guess is the owner) has been kinda cool (while also bullshitting me at the same time) about things. he upgraded my mixer for me, and also upgraded my mics, rack and amp for me as well. but I am still waiting on my table top stand that I ordered MONTHS ago. I am not the only person that this has happened to as well. go a google search for them.

I mean they have amazing deals, and like I said, Neil has been pretty cool about this (except for the last 4 or 5 times I have called and he has bullshitted me) but its not really worth the hassle in my honest opinion. I am just trying to save you the headache. they have a habit from what I have read of if they don't have it...they substitute it. no calls or e-mails to tell you or anything, just something other than what you ordered in the box. and according to the link it says 15 are left of the 5500 and I am sure it doesn't refresh every time one sells.

maybe some others have had better experiences than me or others that I have read about. If so feel free to speak up. if you do decide to go with them I hope your experience is better than mine. good luck in whatever you decide to do.

thanks, but i live in Chicago so you think there might be a difference if i go to their warehouse?

The 5500 is a better unit than the 1200. The 1200 is like a starter setup and the 5500 is a step up. When you feel both, you will see the difference.

what does the 5500 do that the s1200 doesnt (aside from the moving platter, which is not supported)? the s1200 is badass and does everything that the larger uits do, its just a compact design for mobile use, and does not feel cheap at all.... but you cant really lose with anything denon
