Just wondering if we would ever see a mic input function as part of virtual dj. I think the cue version offered a mic input with vol adjustment as part of the softwsre. Even it was just to call for help in an emergency.

There is a plugin to allow this however many people use a dedicated mixer or a soundcard for this.

I'm interested too. I would like the option to not need a sound board or mixer and just have the laptop pre-amp everything into the amps.
I haven't had time to explore this, buit I intend to put a gooseneck on a mike stand and use a push button Shure SM-57. Might even tie on some scarfs like Stephen Tyler.....heheheheheh.
I tried once quick to convert the 1/4 inch plug down to a 3.5 mm and plugged it into my laptop's mic in, but it didn't work. I figure it's an impedence problem. Haven't done research yet.
Be pretty boss to get it working. Probably need a boost amp. Errrrrrrr... something else to plug in at setup time and wrap up on tear down.
