Topic: Help Needed with timecode Setup

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi guys i am new to the whole timecode set up and was just wanting a bit of help and info.

I am using a esi maya44 usb sound card along withe serato scratch live cvo2 vinyls.

I have added some pics below as of the sound i am getting as i am unsure what the correct settings are for the timecode.

If you could have a look at the pics and tell me if it is all setup right or if not point me in the right direction.

I would be very gratefull for this help and info.

Change your System from side left to the right side!
if you have the same effect on the right side then is your system damaged!

Actually Rob it doesn't look like you need to make any adjustments at all. You are almost perfect already.

Is there something that is not acting right?

Only that when i backscratch the music tends to to drop other than that evrything is ok

Oh and 1 other thing i have noticed is the bpm within virtual dj tends to go up and down by its self.

Rob, there is a Pitch sensibility slider (as in your 2nd pic) try moving it to the right a tad (on both decks) and see if that stops the BPM fluctuating.

I have moved the slider to around 1000ms for the pitch movement to stop but it is not as responsive now is this ok or is something else not setup right.

OK, try checking the option "Disable pitch"

This should stop the pitch moving with in the software ( and the BPM display on the skin), but you will be able to still use the pitch control on the TT's.

Thanks for all your help guys i think i pretty much have these working perfect now.

Boy...Virtual DJ has come a long way...I got Serato and its great - but the video djing feature means I have to convert all my videos to mp4 format! and the quality of the picture output to my projectors is watery (not very sharp) at best!!!

I tried the V6 demo and it was fantastic...the quality of the picture output to my projects was so much better!!!

Congrats to the Virtual DJ team...I'm gonna buy VDJ this week!
