Topic: "Mix Now" during Automix

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I'm using 6.01 on a PC and using the standard VDJ Pro Skin. I'm curious as to how to implement a "Mix Now" when in an automix setup. I know this has been discussed around here, but can't find the thread(s) for the life of me. I don't have my dj laptop in front of me so can't check the mapings, plus want to see those threads. Either on the keyboard, or my controller.

Also, I'm looking at the "verbs" http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript_verbs.html here and wondering what's the difference between

# mix_now : Smoothly crossfade from one side to the other, using beatsync if both songs have enough beat.
and
# automix_skip : if automix is active, skip the actual song and mix to the next one in the playlist.

I'm using the Denon HC-4500 controller - is there any buttons that are set to automix? Or, has anyone any good ideas of which button to use on it?

Why not generate a "mix now" keyboard short cut? It is easy since v6 came out....

Since Automix only uses 1 deck the difference is simple ... for what you want you will use the 'automix_skip' .. the 'mix_now' is if you have a deck in play and the other deck cued up and want to mix to that waiting deck.

Thanks, that worked well. I programmed SHIFT+SPACE to do it. I replaced the "synch" function, but SHIFT+SPACE is what PCDJ uses so good to map the same keys. May figure something else for Synch fxn if i find myself using it more.

Should also note that simply Double Clicking a track will force it to automix_skip. I just found that in the manual.
