Topic: Dragged kicking and screaming but i'm here now

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I have 6.0.2 with my database intact....

As many know, I have been using 3.4 for years. I still love it and will still use it out at gigs until I am comfortable with 6.0.2 but....

mp3jrick and cstoll dragged me kicking and screaming into the present day.

Wish me luck on my learning curve.

Thank you mp3jrick and cstoll. It only took 5 years.

You will not be sorry City, my old friend...

I loaded 6.0.2 on a brand new system. 3.4 is still on my older system.

Why I don't get it, why would you use an old version? couldn't you afford the upgrade :)

Well there was some messed up stuff on your system that Chris was finally able to firgure out, but we had 3 guys working on it.
Still waiting on the details, just glad its finally resolved.

Rick, Chris,

Outstanding work. Thanks for hanging in there with me over the years. If your ever in the D.C. area, Look me up and i'll treat you to a beer or two. Or 3 or 4.

Believe it or not, i'm still trying to find out where to put my skins. I think I found where to put effects and samples but if you could clarify this for me...

Also, I have been looking into the NUO 5 mixer but I don't think it's gonna work out for me. What's the word on the nanopad doing what I need it to do?

From another post...
How about the Ecler NUO 5?

Will this work for me? Will it be able to scroll folders and files, load songs, trigger cue points, trigger effects, trigger samples, trigger beatmatch?

That's about all I need a midi mixer to do.

I can get the mixer for $450 including a Road Ready Case but I have to move fast.

If the NUO 5 Won't do this, will the Nanopad?

Everything is now in the My Documets\VirtualDJ folder ... if you read the v5 manual (in the first few pages) it explains where everything now is since v5.

So always look to My Documents\VirtualDJ folder
= Skins
= Effects
= etc.

Thanks...Ya know, I looked everywhere else but my documents.

Still getting used to the changes from 3.4 to 6

The v5 manual that should be in the My Documents\VirtualDJ folder should help in the first few pages with the 'big' changes of locations and some of the features.

The v6 manual will just get into just the v6 new features.
