Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this!
I have been using VDJ for aboout 4 years now, but exclusively for audio. I am now interested in video. I have recently updated to V.6 with the Numark interface and use technic 1200's with a Behringer DDM4000 Mixer. My questions are....
How do I assign shortcuts to just the video aspect of VDJ 6? I understand and have no problems with controlling the audio with my decks. I am just wondering what is the easiest way of controlling the video (only) crossfader, effects, and transitions? Is there a video or guide to it? How is yours setup? I just am trying to understand and maximize the video aspect of VDJ, any sort of advice or suggestions would be greattly appreciated!
My next question may coincide with the previous...
I am completely lost when it comes to understanding Mappers. I have the Behringer DDM4000 mixer and the mapper for it. But how the heck do I even hook it up? How do I link the two? I have used just the basics of the mixer and I know there are a lot that I am not utilizing... Is there a guide to using mappers somewhere?
Please excuse my ignorance on the subjects, and Thanx in advance for your help!
