got my 1200s and my mixer. i have virtual dj 6.0. do i have to spend 500 usd on virtual vinyl? can i just buy the time codes and the sound card. or do i have to use CUE to use them? if i can buy just the timecodes and the sound card can someone post a link where.

u need the vinyls and a 4 in and 4 out asio soundcard like maya 44. u have the pro version so no need for another software

Like he said. Just grab the tcv and a maya 44 and crank it up. I heard good things about the maya. I use virtualvinyl. Its good too. It has a extra out for your samples. Oh yeah, VDJ6 and VV6 are the same.

where can i buy just VDJ vinyls? i know i can use serato ones but id rather just use numarks. unless seratos are better.thanks for the info so far. what other sound cards can i use instead of the maya one?

I would suggest any 4in 4out sound card. Allot of guys use diffrent SCs. I would search around the forum and ask the guys who use the ones you are interested in. Here can get ur TCVs here:

If you go the serato/rane route. you should get one red and one blue. Kinda like the Redskins in the Cowboy's blue and grey.LOL

Virtual dj recommends you use serato vinyl it tells you somewhere within this site.
I use serato with the esi maya and they work perfect.
Just make sure the serato vinyls are CV02 2nd edition and everything will be all good
