i purchased the virtual dj pro version to mix video, now i cant record any of my mixes because i get a message that says that one or more files are protected with a drm file and it cannot burn or record. so whats the point of having the software if i cant record my own mixes?

Because it would be illegal for VDJ to defeat DRM protected content. (Most video(s) do not have DRM protection, you must have some older ITUNES videos I'm guessing)

Personally (in my humble opinion)
I wouldnt use the same computer to play and record my video mixes..
The CPU 'horsepower' it takes to do it right is kinda insane..
Sometimes the easier way to do it, is to setup a second computer as a video captcher device..
