im currently looking to replace my existing, aging TT's with some cd decks. im looking at the reloop RMP 1 scratch http://www.decks.co.uk/products/reloop/RMP1_Ltd_Scratch
has anyone used these for time codes, im concerned with the word DSP when relating to the scratch functions, will i still get the same effect as if im using vynil or will the dsp muck up the timecode signal.?
i havent got the funding for pioneers (unless anyone wants to donate ;) ) so im loking for basic scratchabilty in a cd deck
Any info on them would be great
Cheers guys

I think this is the big give away in the first paragraph of the description:
"The Reloop RMP1 Ltd scratch version of the RMP-1 is equipped with a sophisticated DSP scratch simulator that can be controlled via the two-piece, touch-sensitive jog wheel."
I don't even think the TT noisemap will ever reach VDJ in "scratch mode" as it looks oike the DSP takes over...
If you're gonna pay over £300 for a deck you might as well go for a CDJ-400. Found this one for £400 on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pioneer-Cdj-400_W0QQitemZ270507825603QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Mixers?hash=item3efb85d9c3
