Ok Read the Wiki about ground loop or HUMM when everything is connected, but I dont know if what is happeneing is related or not?
So here is a little background.
I have been using VDJ for over 3yrs.... and I never have had this problem before everywhere I did a gig. Whether it was a club, bar,or backyard!! But for some dam reason only @ this place and this place only when I hook up which just consist of the 2CDJ's 800 MKII, toshiba laptop, RMX and a My Book 1tb. I connect to there sound system with RCA plugs because its a little older setup. I checked all ground connectors on the sound system. All checks out. my little system is connected with a power strip except the My Book because they are tempermental... ANYONE using knows this. The want to have there own power or it will not read on your com!! Anyways every time I hook in I get this like beeeeeeeeeeee sound. not like the TC signal sound but more lie Meeeeeeeeee or beeeeee sound? Like I said it only happens @ this place No where else?....everything is 3prong plugs so I think its up to code because that was the 1st thing I thought?
Any Idea's???

sounds like bad power. those outlest can be hooked to something like a neon light, bar cooler, ect.
I would also check the ground with a tester like this one.

I never go anywhere without one.
also you could try using a power conditioner.

but again my guess is there is bad power source to that outlet

I had the same thing at one place where we used to do karaoke. It was an older building & it the way the power was routed. I was using a power conditioner & it still would buzz/hum. Nothing I could do about it.

its probably a bad ground buzz..
RCA plugs and a separate system many times leads to this problem..
a DI-Box or audio isolater would probably eliminate this problem.
