hi guys ive been trying all night to program my midi keyboard trying to figure out the best channel and trying to get it to work with vdj and its not showing up in the mappers its connnected via usb it does work with some controls but i think that just from the signal so i know it does wil work with vdj i just need to know how in (detail) how to mapp it

can guys please help me ive have searched the fourms and everything i have come up with has just said it does work nothing about how to map it with virtual dj 6

i figured it out it was conflicting with my ddm 4000 mapper which was made with a simple midi mapper thanks guys
 
Sorry no-one has answered your topic, but to my knowledge I've never heard of anyone using this keyboard with VDJ!
 
well iam using it right now and it works just like a controller :)
 
i had looked at this about a year ago , but nobody was using it so i didn't get it

it's an unusual choice

Hey so i just read this and im having the same problem i have a axiom 61 and vdj 6 but i'm am farely new to doing anything like this wondering if anyone can help me with this i see that you have figured it out for your axiom 25 can you maybe throw me a bone?

I would have replied If I would have seen it earlier. I have a axiom 25 and I had to map it as "simple midi" as well. What mappings do you use? I was using the pads as Samples, the black keys as sound effects, and the regular keys as Set_Cue 1-5 and Go to Cue 1-5. Careful some keys are the same frequency as your hercules RMX and will reprogram them. The Axiom-25 Works Superb in Reason 4.0 Here is a song I made with an Axiom-25 and Reason 4.0

I just switched to the Korg Nano Pad for VDJ, its much better and way more portable you should check it out. it has 12 pads and 4 levels. So 48 "actions" all at the tap of a pad. Oh and it has a touch pad x-Y axis which can control effects parameters E.G. distortion on flanger. It works really well in Ableton Live as well with its drum roll functions.
