Hey evryone.hope you are all good.
I have made a 150 mins mix on virtual dj. Problem is its to big for a 700mb audio disc and to get to track number 15 or any track near the end of mix once i have burned it to a data disc as an mp3 file i have to hold forward button for an absolute age until i get to song i want. Is there any way to edit the mix so i get set the individual songs at start point etc.Hope this makes sense.
Also i can save the mix as a data file(mp3) and it works on sytems that plays (mp3) but cant save as an audio mix for all sound systems, too big.
Appreciate your time and thank you very much.
Teddy

You can use an audio editing utility such as Audacity to split the song up into individual tracks, e.g: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=files&i=split
The maximum time you can get on a standard audio CD is 80 minutes (Providing you purchase 80 minute CD's.)
If you are making mixes that you intend to put onto audio CD's, you should keep your recording session less than 80 minutes long.

Simplest utility is CD WAVE to seperate or add track numbers to a single audio file. Then use a CD burner program that doesn't leave a 2 second split between songs. This way it will play in any cd player without a gap between songs. I would recomend spliting your audio file in 2 with CD WAVE first and then add the track markers
