hi can anyone tell me what usb sound card adaptors are best to use & how do you get them to work so as i can run my virtual dj from my lap top (which is operating on windows vista) with 2 stereo outputs into 2 channels on my mixer thanks any advice would be greatly accepted

When using an external mixer, I would recommend 3 stereo outputs if possible.
This way your sampler and prelisten is on the the third channel.. (its nice too have this extra control)

First a question are you going to use the mixer for cue? Are you using a controller ? Using as a second card?
At the moment I am using two different ones? Just started using the Hercules Deejay trim 4&6. I would recommend it as it also as the ability to connect via its 2 usb ports ext. hdd or a controller.

Oh yeah the old stand by is a SB 24bit live external soundcard
Perhaps someone will add more or give ya some better ideas or insights
