Topic: Question for Video Dj's

Using a Acer Travelmate 4200 notebook...video card is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (i know low end)...Video's plays fine and i never use more than 80% - 85% CPU...And that is on initial first 3 sec of loading video when another is playing and then it drops to about 40% CPU usage...takes maybe 6-8 sec to load entire video.

Question 1

When trying to use the logo plugin ...when i try to load .png logo it gives me a cannot load error message....Is that because my video card is low end? and won't allow it? I can't figure out why it won't load...logo is 90kb...it doesn't give you a "why it won't load"

Question 2

Everything i have read/heard says use video accelerator in config menu...but when i do...audio for a video still plays but video no longer does...Once again is that because of video card being low end?

Question 3

If i get a hi-end video card that runs off of usb...will that solve any problems from above?

What difference can i expect using a hi-end video card vs the one i have...when my pic out is fine and shows good on video screen...and no glitches

Try to activate show logo effect first, then load logo file.

I tried it that way and it doesn't work...i have made it work on my desktop, so i imagine that my video card in my laptop is just not able to do any of the effects...it can only run straight video.
 
I thought show logo only works with jpgs? If I am wrong somebody let me know what other file formats are allowed.

PNG. file format ios also allowed. I use it because of transparent back gound possibility.

you will still need to install both of the above to get video effects to work, hope you enjoy the new toy... lol

I installed on my "older" laptop and it still didnt do the effects.....but i have saved the files and will install on the new on when i gets here...thanks.
