Hi all,
I'm looking into getting a gobo projector. Thought it would be a nice addition especially for weddings. Basically I'm looking at offering a monogram projection of the wedding couples initials or something along those lines onto the dancefloor or somewhere imaginative.
I've never use gobo lighting before so don't really know what exactly the slides are like. We do laser cutting at work so I'm thinking I could custom cut stainless steel gobo slides and use that to project the image. Would that work?
If anyone has any useful links or information about the projectors or brand info that would help? I'm looking for something relatively cheap and will just see how it goes from there.

Anyone researching about gobo projectors check out this thread. It looks like a better solution of using a gobo projector is to use a data projector and just connect it to you laptop displaying a jpeg image with a black background. Clever idea...
