First of all Hi to all I'm new to the DJ business and I'm looking for a software that is easy to use and will do the following: Play the songs in the songlist automatically, and one that will fade the songs automatically one that you can set a time, like the next song starts 8 seconds at the end of the song playing. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Since you are asking this question on the VDJ forum;
why not download the trial version and give it a whirl.
There is a basic version, as well as pro, with all the bells and whistles.

you found it.

That's what this program does and a whole lot more. Download the trial , read the manual and have fun with it.

YES READ THE MANUAL (AS I'M CONSTANTLY BEING TOLD!!!)

I thought, what you described sounded like an ordinary Media player, Microsoft etc, but without the fade effects.

VDJ is FABULOUS though.

Download it and get very, very addicted (to Bass!!!)

hi
im a newbie. i purchased 4 dvd's from the internet.they are from KARAOKESTAR a total of 800 songs compilation. 200 hundred songs per dvd
i can play them on windows media player and each song shows seperatly.
ex. under country no. 2 there are 20 songs.
when i play this on virtual dj the 20 songs are all in one. it does not show the songs seperately.
when you open the dvd it opens as
audio_ts

video_ts

there is nothing under the audio_ts.
but when you open the video_ts you get
many files ex. video_ts avi files
video_bup files
video-ts ifo files
how can i get virtualdj to read these files
besides that all my other cdg song works fine.
i would like to play the above 4 dvd's thru virtualdj
thank you for your time and patience

This is a normal DVD format so you can play it in every consumer DVD player. If you want to use it with VDj you have to rip all the videos one by one to your harddisk.

heiko thank you for the info.
i tried to rip it but somehow it will not allow me.
is it copyright ????
i will keep trying cause i love it much better using virtualdj than windows media player.
i thought that there might be a software that would allow to me to rip one by one.
thank again for your time and patience.
i will keep trying
god bless
