Topic: VDJ memory problem?!

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

When I run VDJ, it occupies all working memory(RAM) and CPU slams down to 100% usage and 'cause of that computer slows down totally and i can't mix properly or do anything else for that matter.

Can you post details of your hardware and what version of VDJ you are using so we can see what might be causing this.

Cheers,

Roy

I have more than min sys requirements for VDJ and the version is not optional...i tried demos of 5.06 rev 6, 5.2 and 6.0 and still the same even after of format and installing fresh OS. Can the problem be cause of the hardware? After all my comp is a bit dated. My sys info = CPU AMD Athlon 1800 +2600, RAM 512 DDR2 and Graphic Card ATI Radeon 9550 PRO

The next question to ask then is what else do you have running on the lappy? Have you tried Gamebooster from iobit.com to close down unnecessary services.

Cheers,

Roy

No i haven't tried that application, i'll give it a shot. Tnx for the tip. Well, besides antivirus, firewall and antispyware, sometimes i know to be online, with chrome, WLM and Skype turned on but that never was a problem before. Can this be of settings of VDJ, i used set to Best Quality performance???

When you say "demos" can I assume you mean Cracked versions?

Nope...I had purchased version of VDJ before i formated computer. After that, the problem was still there, i didn't want to purchase VDJ for nothing so i downloaded from this site trial versions to check if it will work properly.

Is the skin maximised?

why...yes, yes it is. But i can't imagine how can that have any effect at all.

Because certain systems don't cope well with the method used to stretch the skin to fit and this can have a significant impact on system resources.

FWIW I would look at upping your RAM too; 512Mb is the bare minimum really and it's never good to scrape by on the bare minimum if you're a professional.

Thank you for the tips and advices. I'm planing already to "juice up" computer. Anyhow, i've fixed the problem. I just reduced performance settings...Thanks again for everything.
