Hi all,
I search a lot of effet on VDj for mac, and i have some difficulties to find them.
I want to use them instead of a "effect box"(like a kaoss pad for example) with a MIDI controller for more suppleness.
Where can I find them ? on the dowload page here, there are no more interessant effect.
If someone have a solution ^^ thanks to him.

Most effects and other plugins are created by talented users of VirtualDJ. If the author does not own a Mac and/or has not created a Mac compatible version of their plugin, then unfortunately it will not be available for Mac.
Effects and plugins that are Mac compatible with have a floppy disk download icon with an Apple logo. Those with a Windows only icon are not compatible with Mac.

Hi Guys
Is there any way of converting the windows effects to Mac.

The plugin author has to convert them. In the case of video plugins this is a major task.

i see i sincerely apologize i was mis informed by someone else on the forums.. how do i go about setting up my xfader curve in virtual dj? thanks for clarifying my mistake again :D

well there are a couple of ways you can do it.
1. assign a midi knob using the vdj script action crossfader_curve
2. choose a skin that has selectable curves such as this one

3. choose one of the preset curves inside vdj options

I have just converted the great High Quality Flanger of TexZK for mac:

All the honors to TexZK as it's his code and not mine ;-)

For those who already downloaded the new version, please download it again (and click on the button "Reset") as I have just fixed a bug.

this is just my opinion and not sure where to post it. would it not make sense that on the virtual dj website there was an effects page for mac and one for PC. it is a pain to search through all the effects and plugins to find plugins and effects for mac.

That is in process.

Hi Rick,
Similar thing would be great for skins too ..... there are many variations for different resolutions, browser colours etc. and it gets a bit confusing.
Would be great if you could have some click down boxes to look for screen resolution, which VDJ version they work with and whether they have been converted for mac.
Probably quite a lot of work but it would make searching for skins so much easier.
Cheers
