Topic: !st gig with all vids

Ok last nite was my 1st gig where I did all Vids..I was impressed with VDJ 6.07 it handled like a pro!! I did how ever have a little hickup if you will?? I was using the random viideo transition plugin and that was fine..but when I also tried to run the Fire text and use a sample @ the same time my computer did not like that @ all!! the sound became distorted until I stoped..Now I am not saying its the programs fault. Like I said other than that it ran flawless for 5hours of vids!! :)

I think it could be my com but who knows I just thought I'd post this and see if anyone had the same issue?

BTW My com specks are

Make - Toshiba Satellite
CPU 2.2GH Core 2
Ram 4gigs
OS Win XP Pro

Also I was using my RMX with TCCD with my CDJ 800 MK II'S

I kept and Eye out for my CPU process meter but it was normal. It ran almost full bar when video loading but came back down to almost nothing once loaded.

Thats nice to see something positive!! Good job man. As far your cpu when loading I think its has been known to spike during a load. But like I said its good see positive things for a change. Have a great day.
 
hey, congrats on your night, when you get the time any chance of duplicating when you had the problem, run with transitions, firetext and samples then run two without the other effect then just one by itself just so we know where to pinpoint any problem, it may just happen in a combination, thanks.

Ok I did the same thing I did las night except I did not have everything hooked up? Being Lazy....lol So I just did the same thing with just my laptop and did not have the problem? BTW I for got to mention I had my Exterdrive Hooked up using E-Sata and my drive having its own power. Also Had a Usb LED light to see in the dark booth..Tomorrow I will hook up everything and see what happens.
