Topic: Cheapest controller availiable?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hello guys from Switzerland.

Recently I started to be DJ for some parties here, not so much like 4 o 5 times a year... and I dont really mix... well I try and sometimes good shit happens (love the sync button of Virtual DJ)

I am wondering which is the cheapest controller for Virtual DJ so I can use both hands and not stick it to the mouse (it is really annoying). Just make loops, crossfading, volumes, and nice to have the equalizer in each side would be good...

As well I have just 1 sound card but I am able to listen the next song with USB headphones (detected as a different devide in Windows7 so seletable as a different sound card in Virtual DJ) so I guess I dont need a second sound card.

I would like also to know which is the best quality/price controller. I have a budget of 300 euro but it can go a little bit up if it is really worth.

Thank you in advance

probably with be the e2 from Hecules.

the cheapest controller is your keyboard :D

unless u want to turn knobs...

probably with be the e2 from Hecules.

Wow looks good... what can't you do with the E2? What are the differences between this and the RMX from hercules? for example

The size and build material mostly the e2 is plastic and has no sound card the rmx is aluminum and has a 4in and 4 out sound card.

Is there a intermediate step between those 2 ? A plastic one with soundcard (which will allow me to change the shitty USB headphones I have for a real dj ones)?

And ... is there a place where I can buy second hand controllers like this?

Thank you!

that would be the Hercules mp4 but I'm not sure its out yet.

I own the Hercules and have to say, that its very good for the price. Performance is superb but the faders are a bit wobbly.

Hercules Dj Console Mk4 $199US http://www.jr.com/hercules/pe/HER_DJCONMK4/

Seems like a really nice intro unit, still waiting for the release and cost of the Vestax Typhoon.....but if Guitar Center carries this one in store it may be the one I grab.

It comes with a real nice cover so it can be transported without bending any of the faders and the shoulder bag makes for easy carrying. The only advantage i can see on the Typhoon would be the touch sensitive jog wheels.
