What is the best midi controller to invest in that is value for money, durable, could scratch, also has a C.D drive, and that's compatable with Virtual D.J ?

Or the Pioneer CDJ2000, but they're $1700-$1900 a piece. Whereas the Denon 3700 is $800-$900. Although Pioneer decks usually have good resale value in the long run, take the CDJ1000mk3 as a example. Im still divided myself on which to buy, and the crappy guitar center near me doesn't either on the floor to try or any in stock last time I checked.
You might even want to wait a little as there are quite good lookin controllers comin out this year, check out some videos from MusikMesse 2010 to get some previews.

I went through this choosing process and based on functions V cost I went for dual NDX800's by Numark.
And, as I found out today, 6.0.8 and later versions of Pro have the mapper already built in for dual NDX800 decks and it works a dream...a fellow DJ, that just popped round, said he wished his CDJ1000's would work that well
The only thing I am disappointed about is that Numark, when designing the NDX800, didn't think to build into the deck the ability for the CD drive and Flash drive port to be recognised by Windows as external devices - this would have made the NDX800 perfect, IMHO.
